​The Friends Bookstore is open during regular Library hours.

Hundreds of gently used books are for sale and we accept book donations.

Day at the Rocks - April 30,2022

 Library Manager Jim Wall and Children's Librarian Deanna Kazdoy, joined by Friends   Volunteers, welcomed huge numbers of children to play games and win prizes at the   colorful LA County Library display.  Children and parents were also able to select a book   to take home from a colorful selection of new children's books.

Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library are people who share a passion for reading, a love for their community, and an appreciation of libraries. They are interested in fundraising and promoting awareness of our  library.  


  Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library support our local library 


  • ​Supporting the library through advertising library activities 
  • Raising funds for library programs through special events   
  • Sponsoring and staffing book sales for the public
  • Providing volunteers for library events and activities
  • Operating and staffing our Used Book Store

  • Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library is a self-supporting non-profit entity. Membership is open to anyone interested in helping to enhance library services in the community.
